Chapter 1

While reading the first chapter, I saw how Mary, O'Hare's wife hates war. She especially hates it because it kills many children. When I read this part, it made me think aobut how in some countries, people have children fighting in wars everyday. I understood how she felt about the children being killed and brainwashed by war. Even though Vonnegut and O'Hare survived war as children, that does not mean that other kids survived and will survive in wars to come.
