Chapter 6: Simile

In chapter 6, there are many comparisons made. One type of comaprison is a smilie. A simile is a figure of speech that makes an explicit comparison between two unlike things with the use of like or as. As Vonnegut says, "They were sharp as razor blades." (139) Vonnegut was explaining the sharpness of an object and compared it to razor blades.
